SALAD IN A JAR
Do you love salads like me. Have you made a salad in a jar yet. I have been doing this for a while now and its a great idea. I can make my salads up for the week and put them in the fridge ready to go. Did you know that if you wash your lettuce, dry it and put it in a glass jar it will last for over a week. I stored my lettuce in a large plastic box with some kitchen paper on the top to soak up the moisture to keep my lettuce fresh but now I use a large glass container for my lettuce so it keeps longer.
You can even put fruit into your glass jars as well.
